Welcome to the Avatar Custom Electronics (ACE) page! We design and build electronic devices for custom applications in the real world. Our end users are a diversified group that have applications that often require "non off the shelf" products.  We also market products under our own brand for the athletics coaching community. The DRILLClock brand of practice timers and clocks are designed for athletics training programs. Segment Timers or Practice Clocks are tools that can be used by a coaching staff that will keep the practice session "on time"  with loud horns marking the time segments. A practice time keeper and also featuring built in drill routines including a 1/100th of a second stopwatch timer and a settable play clock.  

ACE offers design assistance for customers that are currently in the design and fabrication process of electronic devices. This includes micro processor, board level components, and firmware to achieve the products desired operation. Avatar Sports Electronics

Athletics Training for High School, college and professional sports is demanding for athletes and their coaches. Our DRILLClock brand of digital timers are designed to be part of any training program. On the practice field as a "Segment Timer" with 20" numbers a coaching staff can preset up to 100 individual time segments with loud audible breaks between each.  

The Start Gun feature included on the DM1-100 Timer can also be used in any athletics training program where a "starter gun" type start is required. The Start Gun Timer uses a Padswitch contact switch to interface the athlete with the timer. When the athlete applies pressure to the Padswitch, a random time of 0.5 to 6.5 seconds

We were contacted by Kacy Hendricks of Hopes Rescue Angels. You can see the work that Kacy has been doing by visiting her channel on YouTube.  As a front line animal rescue, Kacy has gone those extra miles that rescue demands. It has been an amazing journey that working with Kacy has become. Her insight and knowlege of what it takes to be successful as a trapper has led this product developement. The trap system that most use had one basic problem, it required too much constant power. Batteries had to be changed far too often. This was solved by the ZERO POWER LATCH, model: ELR-12 Latch Release that only requires power to release.

Traps with the ELR-12 Latch can go for weeks without human intervention. Kacy now has a DROP NET trap using the ELR-12 Latches and a 25X25 foot net.

 

Used to rescue runaway dogs, this is a latch for holding a trap cage door "open" and then it can be closed by an infra-red detector, or by RF remote control with a button press. This is the RTC-12 Radio Trap Controller that features long range RF remote control for triggering the trap.

The RTC-12 has a wired input that can be turned ON or OFF by remote control.  This is the AUX Input that features an XLR 3pin connection that provides 12V DC for the connected trigger device such as an IR Beam interrupt module.
